Job Description:
The Medical Canvass Investigator is responsible for conducting desk and phone investigations prior to the commencement of, in support of on-going surveillance/SIU investigations, and/or as a standalone service.
The Medical Canvass Investigator is accountable for individual quality and performance.
Performance will be measured through the use of direct and indirect communication and productivity metric tools.
The Medical Canvass Investigator will work alongside Support Services (OPS Admin), Operation Management and Case Management to exceed investigator and client expectations.
Job Responsibilities: Including, but not limited to the following:
Review assigned files for client request and protocol.
Contact via phone medical offices/providers based on referral request, type of loss, demographics, and any other pertinent factors in an effort to determine if a claimant/subject has received treatment/services.
Note all contacted facilities, representative name, record retrieval protocol when applicable, and all pertinent details.
Compile reports, following The Robison Group’s formatting and reporting protocol, and generate invoices for each report based on specific client rates.
Flag files based on developed information and provide updates to the Medical Canvass Supervisor/SIM of potential findings.
Manage caseload disseminated through Medical Canvass Supervisor/SIM.
