Job Objective:
As the Princeton Corps Administrator, you will leverage the full potential of The Salvation Army in Princeton, IN, to positively impact the residents for Christ both practically and spiritually, especially those impacted by poverty.
This person will lead every aspect of the Corps Team and communicate The Salvation Army story to the community of Princeton, IN and ensuring that the Mission of The Salvation Army is effectively carried out.
What You Will Do:
Expand the Corps vision and impact of The Salvation Army in Princeton, IN thru community engagement, leadership, and sound management practices
Facilitate and lead all aspects of Salvation Army Spiritual expression, such as Sunday worship, Bible Studies, social services and other programing opportunities.
Lead all aspects of programing, marketing, fundraising, business operations and staff/ volunteer management
Evaluate and analyze effectiveness/ compliance of programs in relation to mission, United Way outcomes and other social services standards.
Other tasks as assigned by leadership
Minimum Qualifications: The requirements listed below are representative of the minimal education, experience, skills, and/or abilities required for this position.
Education: Bachelor's degree preferred; significant related experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
Spiritual/ Ministry: As this is a ministry position, a strong personal relationship with Jesus Christ is required.
Agreement with and willingness to teach, preach, and lead according to the Doctrines of The Salvation Army.
Background Checks: Position requires a background check to be completed.
Findings may disqualify an individual for this position
Experience: Proven experience with social service, marketing, development, and knowledge of how grants and budgets work.
Three or more years of experience supervising, developing, training staff, and building teams is preferred.
Certifications: Must have a valid driver's license and maintain The Salvation Army Driver's qualification standard; must complete Safe From Harm training within the first 90 days of employment.
Skills/Abilities:
Able to speak, write and understand English in a manner sufficient for effective communication with leadership, field personnel, and clientele
Computer proficiency with Microsoft products and ability to learn electronic reporting systems
Public speaking
Supervisory Responsibility: Employees and volunteers
