This Sales Internship position will be asked to relocate to our Corporate Headquarters in Evansville, IN for the Summer of 2024.
The ideal candidate for this role would be located or willing to be relocated upon graduation to the East or West Coast areas of the US.
This is to support and plan for the ideal conversion from intern to full-time upon graduation to support our territories in these areas.
Responsibilities:
Collaborate with Sales and Planning teams to analyze actual sales vs forecast, then identifying efficient means to improve forecast accuracy.
Work closely with Sales, Product Development, and Product Line Management, in an effort to identify new product markets/opportunities for our sales team to focus on.
Establish our value proposition for new markets identified, and clearly outline that value for each item/market.
Participate in the development of product portfolio.
Work in partnership with Product Marketing to identify new and existing market growth opportunities, and assist in the creation of a product strategy related to new market opportunities.
Program Highlights:
Intensive 12 week (40 hours per week) paid internship
Start date to begin in May in Evansville, IN at our Corporate Headquarters
Ownership of challenging and impactful business-critical projects
Final presentation of project work to senior leaders
Qualifications:
Pursuing a degree in Sales, Commercial, Marketing, Engineering, or relatable field
Must possess excellent communication and analytical skills
Must have a positive attitude
Ability to prioritize tasks and handle numerous assignments simultaneously
Proficient in Microsoft Office and internet applications
Must be high-energy, detail oriented with excellent organizational and follow-up skills.
Strong listening, communication, and interpersonal skills, both written and oral.
