*Immediate Supervisor: Director of Sales*
*SUMMARY: *Performs administrative functions in support of property sales leaders.
*Previous hotel experience is preferred!*
*ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES* include the following.
Other duties may be assigned by a manager or supervisor as needed.
· Make follow-up calls to confirm group details.
· File and organize copies of contracts and correspondence ensuring records are up to date.
· Distribute memos, contracts, resumes, room requests and amenities to relevant departments.
· Act as a first point of contact for calls, emails, and messages when the director of sales is not available.
· Reserve and confirm rooms, meeting space, and banquet space when necessary.
· When checking groups arriving each week, relay any needed information to front desk.
· Call or e-mail groups that have not picked up their full block for two weeks prior to cut off.
· Perform other duties as requested by management.
*Position Requirements*
High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
Previous hotel or sales experience preferred, but not required.
*Work Environment and Context*
Work schedule varies and may include occasionally working on holidays, weekends.
Required to sit for extended periods, lift up to 10 pounds, bend, reach, use hands and fingers to operate keyboard.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $13.
50 - $15.
