Job Description
Our Evansville dealership is looking for an additional Outside Parts Sales Representative (OPS) to help solicit business by cultivating and maintaining strong customer relationships and developing new leads and revenue streams.
This role requires strong interpersonal skills to sell commercial vehicle and equipment parts to external customers and act as a designated representative for key accounts.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:
Identify leads, manage prospective customers, and acquire new business in addition to maintaining favorable relationships with existing customers to meet or exceed established benchmarks and goals.
Possess a thorough, proven knowledge of vehicle parts and inventory control systems to be able to sell parts to key customer accounts with timeliness and a high level of accuracy.
Look up parts and technical information, determine parts inventory, and locate stock in-house or within the greater TCI network in a timely manner.
Work with vendors to provide product demonstrations to our customer base.
Prepare sales documentation for warranty and parts returns for serviced accounts.
Resolve customer concerns or issues with a positive, solution-focused outlook to maintain a high level of customer satisfaction and repeat business.
Proactively identify product lines or items that align with customers’ needs.
Routinely review customer accounts and price profiles to develop strategies that increase TCI’s market penetration.
Maintain excellent channels of communication and customer service with customers, including on-site visits.
Qualifications
What We're Looking For:
Must be able to pass a pre-employment background check, physical, and drug screen.
High School Diploma or GED
Valid Driver's License and ability to meet insurance requirements
5+ years of parts sales experience; heavy-duty truck parts experience is highly preferred
Demonstrated customer service experience
Thorough knowledge of basic computer operations and MS Office Suite proficiency
Strong organizational and time management skills that reflect the ability to perform and prioritize multiple projects seamlessly with excellent attention to detail and a solution-focused outlook
