DESCRIPTION:
The Machinery Sales Inside Sales Representative (MISR) will have responsibility to call low par customers, develop sales leads, manage customer data to ensure accuracy, assist the Regional Sales Manager (RSM) and the Machinery Sales Representatives and learn the internal and external aspects of machine sales.
The MISR should foster a positive customer experience leading to increase machinery sales revenue.
REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, engineering or equivalent industry experience Sales/Marketing preferred
Travel to branches or other locations as required to perform assigned duties
Maintain a valid motor vehicle operators' license
Ability to climb on and inspect equipment
Ability to communicate effectively in spoken and written English
Ability to travel with overnight stays
Ability to operate a PC (Windows, Excel, & Word)
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Call 50 low par prospects each week, qualify leads, enter the information into the CRM, ensure customer data quality and pass the qualified leads to the DSRs
Handle walk-in customers and be able to quote and close deals with walk-in customers who are not currently being called on by a DSR
Assist the RSM and DSRs with sales documentation including loaners,
Assist the DSRs with locating and transporting machines for rentals, sales, demos and loans
Utilize he CFSC quote express software for deal velocity, obtain estimates from Service Departments for machine modifications and work with credit and accounts payable to assist in the resolution of customer issues
Complete all training as required
Maintain a high degree of discretion in handling confidential/sensitive information and exercise initiative in all assigned areas, high integrity and accountability standards
Recommend to manager ideas to improve the departments operating procedures or business practices and participate in and support continuous improvement of all related activities and processes
Project a positive image by interacting with fellow employees, customers, and management in a cooperative, supportive, and courteous manner; display a professional attitude; comply with company dress code
Create and maintain good communications (verbally and in writing) and relationships with other Company departments, branches, employees, outside vendors, and customers by addressing and resolving concerns quickly
Follow all work, safety rules, and procedures
Perform other duties as necessary and assigned
