Description
Provide administrative support, including but not limited to, internal and external correspondence, BEO’s, etc.
Responsible for professional phone etiquette including correspondence with team members and customers.
Maintain cleanliness of the convention services office, reporting any items into MicroMain for repairs
Keep supplies for Convention Services stocked.
General clerical duties include computer skills, typing, copying, faxing, filing and creating group contracts as required.
Assist all groups or clients with business center equipment.
Fax Machine, copier, computer, etc.
Notifies management of any serious problems that arise within the department that require immediate attention.
Maintains department records, establishes files and prepares memoranda and or
routing reports for other Department Managers.
Assists Management with business accounts and Event Calendar
Assists in preparing reports, sales projections, and special projects
Coordinate with support departments for specific client needs including (but not limited to): convention power, internet, transportation and amenities
Create and Monitors room blocks and pick-ups for all groups through rooming lists and cut-off dates for all bookings.
Make hotel reservations as needed.
Assures all documents, letters and memoranda are proofread before leaving the department.
May interface with various departments to facilitate department orders and requests.
Must be able to stand, sit, and walk for prolong periods of time (7+ hours).
Always follow the Company Service Standards model.
Must be available for regularly scheduled work and be able to work a variety of hours, holidays, and weekends.
Other duties may be assigned at any time.
