JOB SUMMARY
Working closely with the Merchandise Manager and Head Golf Pro, help to oversee the golf shop and merchandise operation by booking tee times and responding to questions from members and guests, maintaining floor displays, assisting with inventory tracking, and leading by example to provide exceptional guest service to all members and guests, anticipating their needs and promptly responding to inquiries.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
• Assist members and guests with merchandise questions.
• Answering phone calls for daily golf tee time reservations and front gate admissions
• Communicating with Club Service regarding front gate admissions in a timely manner
• Affectively answer questions regarding tee sheet availability
• Maintain organization of merchandise items, both on the floor and in storage.
• Assist with the reception of orders, keeping track of inventory for accuracy.
• Assist with set up of displays and organization of materials.
• Update displays or rotate merchandise items to reflect changes in inventory or promotions.
• Store, pack and maintain inventory records of props, products, or display items.
• Use point of sale machine to track all inventory and process purchases.
• Communicate with members on special requests and coordinate with Merchandise Manager to place orders.
• Maintain positive and professional relationships with other merchandise team members in the Network, as well as vendors and corporate partners.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent preferred.
• At least three years of marketing or retail management experience preferred.
• Previous merchandising experience preferred.
PHYISCAL REQUIREMENTS
• Prolonged periods of standing and walking.
• Able to bend, stretch, twist, and turn.
• Must be able to visually inspect merchandise items for quality assurance.
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Able to communicate with others.
