Profile: Responsible for overseeing all aspects of our used car department, from inventory management to sale strategies.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
* Source, purchase, and maintain a diverse inventory of high-quality used vehicles
* Monitor market trends and adjust inventory accordingly to meet customer demand
* Implement effective pricing strategies to maximize profitability while remaining competitive
* Lead a team of sales professionals to achieve sales targets and provide exceptional customer service
* Develop and implement sales strategies to drive revenue growth and increase market share
* Ensure that all customer inquiries and concerns are addressed promptly and professionally
* Develop marketing campaigns and promotions to attract customers and increase brand visibility
* Utilize various advertising channels, including digital and traditional media, to reach potential buyers
* Work closely with the marketing team to create compelling sales materials and advertisements
* Recruit, train, and motivate a team of sales professionals to achieve their full potential
* Provide ongoing coaching and feedback to improve performance and customer satisfaction
* Foster a positive and collaborative work environment that promotes teamwork and accountability
* Ensure compliance with all dealership policies, procedures, and regulations
* Maintain accurate records of sales, inventory, and expenses
* Prepare regular reports for management detailing departmental performance and key metrics
Qualifications:
* Experience in automotive sales, with a focus on used vehicles
* Strong understanding of the used car market, including pricing trends and inventory management
* Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
* Proficiency in sales techniques, negotiation strategies, and customer relationship management
* Knowledge of automotive financing options and dealership operations (preferred)
