The Senior Philanthropy Manager fosters positive and long-term donor relationships that are critical to philanthropic support.
The Senior Philanthropy Manager is responsible for the creation, accuracy, timeliness, and quality of a wide variety of donor relations communications, including personal communications, as well as custom and targeted impact reports that convey to donors the impact of their giving.
As well as, identify and develop inspiring engagement opportunities for donors to strengthen donor engagement and prospecting.
Education, License, or any special requirements:
Preferred Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business or Communication, or a related field
Self-motivated, able to execute independently with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment with rapidly changing priorities.
5+ years experience working in a fundraising environment with demonstrated emphasis on donor relations responsibilities
Computer skills, including appropriate knowledge of the use of Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel
Creative, positive, team-building approach with a strong donor and client-service mindset
Excellent organizational skills and customer service skills
Emotional stability is conducive to dealing with moderately stressful situations and effective working relationships with customers, peers, departmental and organizational leadership, physicians, and other healthcare providers.
