Job Summary
As a Hoehn Plastics truck driver, you will play a crucial role in our daily operations, ensuring the safe and secure transportation of our valuable cargo.
Your responsibilities will include reviewing daily assignments, completing necessary documentation for DOT and HPI, and maintaining the highest standards of safety and efficiency.
Responsibilities
Plan routes to meet delivery and pick-up schedules.
Supervise loading and unloading of cargo off the truck and ensure cargo is secured.
Confirm inventory matches shipping documents.
Inspect the truck daily to ensure that mechanical, safety, and emergency equipment is in good working order.
Maintain working hours or vehicle service logs, following applicable state and federal regulations.
Report any accidents or vehicle issues encountered while driving to the supervisor.
Submit signed finalized delivery documents to HPI Shipping Department.
The Coordinator or Corporate Management may require a truck driver to complete other necessary tasks, such as [specific tasks, e.

, assisting with warehouse operations or participating in safety training sessions].
Willing to unload pneumatic bulk tank (No tanker or hazmat endorsement needed)
Working Conditions
Over-the-road driving.
While the role of a truck driver at Hoehn Plastics does involve some physical activity, such as climbing, lifting, stooping, and bending, it also includes frequent sedentary work.
Frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and or move up to 75 pounds.
Potentially 1 - 2 Overnights Per Week (Non-Consecutive)
Must be able to work Monday - Friday | Flexible Hours
Qualifications
Commercial Driver's License A (CDL's)
Preferred Qualifications
Previous over-the-road driving experience.
