The health system includes six hospitals, more than 25 primary care locations and several specialty facilities.
We have full-service Laboratories at Deaconess Hospital and Deaconess Gateway Hospital and more than 325 employees in the labs and outreach locations.
We invite you to join the team and thank you for your interest in Deaconess Responsibilities This position of DSS Customer Service Specialist II has responsibilities for timely collection of blood samples and correct identification of specimens from patients at area nursing homes and physician offices.
Additional responsibilities include transporting samples to laboratory, Insurance registration and processing of samples.
Supplemental Staff would be a varied schedule with with opportunities to move into authorized hours of part-time and full-time with benefits.
Requirements High school diploma or GED required.
Proof of education will be required.
This proof will be in the form of an authenticated copy of an original diploma or transcript.
Valid drivers license is required with an acceptable driving record.
At least one year phlebotomy experience required.
