Production Team Member - Fork Truck Driver

*Position Title: Production Team Member - Fork Truck Drivers* *Openings: 2 Gold Shift openings* *Gold Shift* (Nights Monday to Friday 7:15 pm - 4 am).
Must be able to work additional hours and overtime.
Saturdays may be required to work when requested.

Must have experience driving a fork truck.
* Follows Standard Work Process.
Performs a specific task or a number of predetermined tasks in the assembly process.
* Performs repetitive tasks such as attaching or affixing pre-manufactured components and parts to main product as it moves through the production line.
* Prepares parts for shipment.
* Shipping and Receiving material handling.
* Notifies Team Leader of defective parts, equipment, tools, materials, nonstandard assembly work or other conditions, which hinder the assembly process.
* Participates in group meetings in order to exchange any job related information and quality standards are being consistently met.
* Ensures that the time, material and waste is minimized.
* Other duties as required insuring that Vuteq meets and exceeds our customer expectations and needs.
*Skills and Specifications Required* * Strong attention to detail.
* Ability to stand for long periods of time.
* Should have strong hand-eye coordination.
* Ability to operate various assembly tools.
* Sufficient physical reflexes and personal mobility.
* Must be a team player and communicate effectively with all Vuteq team members as well as communicate issues to Supervisor immediately.
* Assist in continuous improvement and be adaptable to change (including new ideas, projects and practices).
* Able to follow verbal and written instructions.
